SUMMARY:Revising Short Fiction Online Workshop
DESCRIPTION:If you want help intensifying your work\, if you want a sustained conversation about fiction\, or if you simply need an artistic jolt\, this month-long online workshop is for you. Participants will read one another’s stories\, offer guidance\, and share concerns. While we’ll dig into character\, tension\, plot\, point of view\, subtext\, and style\, our aim will be singular: to make each story as alluring as possible. Each writer will also get a full review and thorough comments from the workshop leader—along with a follow-up exchange about moving forward. \nSchedule: The course will meet once per week\, Monday evenings (6:00 – 8:30).\nProcess: Writers will share files (stories of up to 6K words)\, then read assigned stories for each session.\nTech: Participants will need a free Zoom account as well as the ability to share files and comment via Microsoft Word or Google Docs.\nCost: $300 secures your place in the course. Seats are limited\, so please act soon.
